22nd Young Biomechanists Conference

On May 15-17, 2026, we participated in the 22nd “Medical and Sport Technologies” & “Young Biomechanists Conference” named after Prof. Dagmara Tejszerska. This is one of the most important Polish conferences regarding biomechanics. Thanks to such meetings, we can find out what is happening in the world of science in our immediate vicinity, which creates the potential for engaging in interesting discussions and even collaborations with the best Polish specialists in their field.

This year, we were represented by Martyna Białecka, PhD, Eng., and Martyna Sopa, MSc, Eng. Dr. Białecka participated in the poster session with a work titled “Accuracy of the OpenCap markerless motion analysis system in assessing basic movement patterns”, while Martyna Sopa took part in the plenary session with a presentation titled “Identification of body segments inertial parameters with the use of a genetic algorithm”. Both works aroused the interest of the audience, giving us the opportunity to engage in interesting, substantive discussions.

Abstracts from both presentations and Dr. Białecka’s poster are available in the gallery below.
