At the end of 2025, we participated in an international conference in Hanover, Germany. The VI International Conference on Biomedical Technology lasted two days (November 17–18), during which we had the opportunity to see the latest developments from engineers across our western border.
While we focused primarily on prosthetic advancements, the event featured a wide array of fascinating research. Conferences like this are an excellent opportunity to establish valuable contacts and exchange professional experiences. We are very grateful for the chance to have participated in such a rewarding event.
The representatives of the Biomechanics Laboratory presented the following topics:
- dr inż. Martyna Białecka: The impact of using advanced foot and ankle prosthesis on gait biomechanics,
- dr inż. Jakub Grabski: Localization of hand region and landmarks in children’s X-ray images,
- mgr inż. Martyna Sopa: Gait asymmetry with different types of prostheses in bilateral amputation.
