Powstanie klasy iQFOi zwi\u0105zane jest z wprowadzenia nowej technologii w windsurfingu \u2013 hydrofoili. Jest to powierzchnia no\u015bna umieszczona na ko\u0144cu statecznika deski zanurzonego w wodzie. Zastosowanie hydroskrzyd\u0142a skutkuje uniesieniem deski ponad wod\u0119, co zmniejsza stawiany przez ni\u0105 op\u00f3r i umo\u017cliwia p\u0142yniecie z wi\u0119ksz\u0105 pr\u0119dko\u015bci\u0105. Obecnie aby uzyska\u0107 najlepsze efekty zawodnicy testuj\u0105 r\u00f3\u017cne ustawienia (pozycje cia\u0142a) podczas p\u0142ywania, kieruj\u0105c si\u0119 intuicj\u0105 i do\u015bwiadczeniem. Optymalny model nie zosta\u0142 jeszcze jednak wypracowany.<\/p><p>Projekt sk\u0142ada\u0142 si\u0119 z trzech etap\u00f3w: opracowania metody szacowania po\u0142o\u017cenia \u015brodka ci\u0119\u017cko\u015bci (OSC) zawodnika na podstawie zdj\u0119\u0107 2D, wskazania predyspozycji do uprawiania windsurfingu w klasie iQFOiL na podstawie oceny cech antropometrycznych i wzorc\u00f3w ruchowych, badania wp\u0142ywu pozycji cia\u0142a zawodnika na pr\u0119dko\u015b\u0107 p\u0142yni\u0119cia.<\/p><p>W pierwszym etapie projektu wykorzystano mo\u017cliwo\u015bci Laboratorium Biomechaniki na Politechnice Pozna\u0144skiej. Przy pomocy systemu motion capture rejestrowano pozycj\u0119 zawodnika na desce. Pozyskane w ten spos\u00f3b dane pozwoli\u0142y na dok\u0142adne okre\u015blenie po\u0142o\u017cenia \u015brodka ci\u0119\u017cko\u015bci cia\u0142a, co p\u00f3\u017aniej zosta\u0142o wykorzystane do opracowania metody szacowania po\u0142o\u017cenia \u015brodka ci\u0119\u017cko\u015bci, na podstawie zdj\u0119\u0107 2D w warunkach regatowych.
