With the beginning of the year, on 6.01.2025, we had a unique opportunity to participate in the study of Dr. Lukasz Oleksy in Lublin. Comprehensive evaluation was carried out on Morot Lublin players, who, under the guidance of the Oleksy Sport team, performed a series of physical tests, for which modern measuring tools were used. We were able to take a close look at how biomechanical tests of leading sports teams are organized.
Among the tools used during the evaluation were the Theia motion capture system, which Dr. Oleksy recently showed us at a guest study at our Laboratory, and other high-end tools (including the now-famous Nordbord) for monitoring muscle forces and movement parameters of athletes.
Our visit, as well as the trip to the Anybody system training at OTH Regensburg University, was made possible thanks to the Cluster of Excellence in Biomedical Engineering of Poznan University of Technology, which we represented. Our representatives - Martyna Białecka, PhD, and Martyna Sopa, M.Sc., have the opportunity, thanks to their membership in the Cluster's activities, not only to supplement their knowledge and experience through training trips, but also to be part of a group of the best scientists of Poznan University of Technology associated with activities in the field of biomedical engineering.
