On 25-26.09.2024, representatives of the Laboratory - Martyna Białecka, PhD, Agata Mrozek-Czajkowska, M.Sc. and Martyna Sopa, M.Sc. - participated in a workshop on the use of the Anybody program. The training was organized by the Laboratory for Biomechanics of the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg under the leadership of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Dendorfer.
Participation in the workshop allowed us to deepen our knowledge of human motion modeling using a dedicated program that corresponds to its open-sourced version - OpenSim, which we use every day.
The purpose of the trip was also to present to the team from Germany the possibility of cooperation with the PP Biomedical Engineering Cluster of Excellence, of which Dr. Białecka and M.Sc. Sopa are members. We hope that the relations established will allow the implementation of joint projects both at the student and research level.
