Study of the effect of the positioning pillow on the positioning of the newborn's body.

StartUp LILCA From the All for INNovators incubation program conducted at the Concordia Design and LAB150, founded by a married couple who, in response to their newborn daughter's voltage asymmetry problem, decided to create a solution themselves.

Product created, cushion LILCA provides professional support for parents in taking care of the correct positioning of the child on a daily basis, but also for physiotherapists, who receive professional equipment for the therapies carried out or exercises prescribed.

Product made of high quality materials such as certified medical memory foam (memory foam), or pillowcase made of Crabyon/Bamboo materials compliant with OekoTex, manufactured in Poland.

With the approval of the bioethics committee, a close cooperation was established with the Biomechanics Laboratory at Poznan University of Technology, where product testing was carried out using the BTS Smart motion analysis system. The main objective of the research is to demonstrate the effectiveness of using the LILCA product in creating positional symmetries in infants.
