On September 25-26, 2024, representatives of the Laboratory — Dr. Eng. Martyna Białecka, MSc Eng. Agata Mrozek-Czajkowska, and MSc Eng. Martyna Sopa — participated in a workshop on using the Anybody program. The training was organized by the Laboratory for Biomechanics at Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg, under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Dendorfer.
Participating in the workshop allowed for deepening knowledge in human motion modeling using this specialized program, which corresponds to its open-source counterpart, OpenSim, which we use daily.
The purpose of the trip was also to introduce the team from Germany to the potential for collaboration with the Biomedical Engineering Excellence Cluster at PP, of which Dr. Białecka and MSc Eng. Sopa are members. We hope that the relationships established will enable joint projects at both the student and research levels.
